PENTECOST WEEKEND

This year, the Church of God New World Ministries will be celebrating Pentecost
in Lexington, Kentucky. We are planning to hold Sabbath Services and Holy Day
Services at the Embassy Suites hotel at exit 115 off I-75 in Lexington
|
|
|
There will be:
-
Arrival and dinner with friends (June 10)
-
Sabbath morning services (June 11) at 10 am
-
Meal with freinds and extended family
-
Sabbath afternoon services (June 11) at 2 pm
-
Pentecost morning services (June 12) at 10 am
|
|
|
|
The day of Pentecost is significant because it represents the day on which the helper (Holy Spirit)
that Christ promised would be sent from His Father came down and the true
church of God was started on the earth with His apostles. From that point forward, those
who believe what the Bible teaches (and NOT the traditions of men) have
celebrated this day. God and His Son, combined with the Spirit that God
gives to those that accept His truths, repent, and are baptized with
hands laid upon them are looking forward to adding to the family of God.
Come celebrate with us this joyous Holy Day and understand it’s
significance in the overall Plan of God.
